Programs and Scripts: Perl: Bulletin Board Message Systems: DCForum 2000
| | | | | |
| User: lennarta | Rating: | | August 21, 1999 |
| DCForum is a robust system with a nice and clean user interface. It is fully threaded, i.e., a "tree" structured system. There is a top level list of active discussions, but each message in a discussion is followed by its own list of replies, and each reply can have a list of replies, etc. Most other "threaded" systems are star structured systems that has a linear list of messages sorted by the time they were posted. The support is very good. It is not well designed to adapt to other languages. |
