Programs and Scripts: Perl: Password Protection: Locked Area
| | | | | |
| User: Joe2 | Rating: | | June 04, 2001 |
| Permission stated in the docs do not work on all server types. I'm on a dedicated, and just can't seem to get the script to run from within a directory that has been set to 777. This script is also spyware. It sends some of your data back to the author to track its usage. |
Programs and Scripts: Perl: Link Indexing Scripts: Open Directory Project: Anaconda! Open Directory
| | | | | |
| User: Joe2 | Rating: | | September 20, 2000 |
| They renamed the script, and raised the price $300 for a total of $499! Looks like a nice script, and I wouldn't mind paying the $199 listed on this site, but the new $499 price tag is just too much. |
Programs and Scripts: Perl: Searching: Searching the Web: Fluid Dynamics Search Engine

| Nice script. Seems to hang on large sites that have lots of files to be indexed, but nice. |
Programs and Scripts: Perl: Postcards: Electronic Postcards

| Dated script. Really needs an upgrade. |
Programs and Scripts: Perl: Postcards: Postcard Direct
| | | | | |
| User: Joe2 | Rating: | | February 11, 2000 |
| Unique script. Would like to see the option to have the card stored on the server and just send the url to those who do not have HTML friendly e-mail programs, or don't like getting attached images. |
Programs and Scripts: Perl: Postcards: BNB Virtual Card Creator
| | | | | |
| User: Joe2 | Rating: | | September 09, 1999 |
| Used BNB for a while. Came back to see if anything better hit the scene. Looks like BNB is still king. Little hard to configure at first, but if you know your way around perl, you can easily hack it to match your site. Latest version fixes the sendmail problem, and is even better. Bravo! |
