Birdcast.cgi

A very easy script to install and to help you promote your site. Features include: e-mail of current URL to an unlimited number of recipients, logging of pages referred, and a message area for the sender's comments. After sending the URL, the script returns the reader to the original page they were reading. All features are configured via the HTML form.

Great little script! I used it for ideas. Making your own? Look at this for great ideas!

It's easy to get working, but, if you want to customize it, it really helps to know Perl. It provides an excellent "skeleton" to work from.

Not many features, ugly forms page and ugly emails. It doesn't have an admin and is not updated. It is, however, easy to install and configure. Good for average people.

Got it working the first evening I tried and I don't know Perl from Pearl Bailey.

Very cool. It's easy to install and works well.

Great script! You can place a link on every page on your site, which greatly increases the chance of your site being recommended to "a friend". The logs are a little tricky but, that is really secondary.

Great Script, very easy to change the look and customize. I use it on almost every client site now!

This really is the best script of it's kind. Unfortunately, it has some unwanted effects when it comes to frame enabled web sites.

The most flexible recommend script that I've seen, and with only one or two varibles to set, it's the easiest to get up and going.

Very nice, flexible script. Customizable. Requires separate script for each site, though.
