Fluid Dynamics Search Engine

This script searches web pages for keywords and phrases, and returns the most relevant documents. It can search web pages on a single site, or anywhere on the Internet. The search engine is managed from an admin web page.

I have tested several search engines to find the one that would be the best. Fluid Dynamics is the most elegant that I tested. Setup was quick and easy. Parameter settings are administered via an online control panel rather than by editing a text file and then re-uploading. Unwanted files can be excluded from the search. When I had questions about settings I emailed the author and he took time to make sure that I had the information that I needed.

This should be rated a 20+. We are now using this script on our Antiques and Collectibles website. It allows for easy updating of all pages. It also allows you to compile data from other websites to use in your own custom search engine! Your own robot is included! This script is the best of the web. Well worth 5 times his charge for it. Absolutely a 20+.

Just installed it. Had problems. Author was extremely helpful. Now have a working solution. Love the app! Wished it had a rating on the returns though. Great end user support!

This is one of the few scripts that I've seen that not only lives up to its promises, but is well documented and works right-out-of-the-download.

Great job, especially the automatic web install. Only thing I would add is more control from the admin page for the different settings that have to be done in the script.

Really great script for a medium sized website. I had a blast with its spidering capabilities. It is a little slow, but so what when you've got something this easy to work with.

Very powerful, slows down only at about 2000 pages.

Nice script. Seems to hang on large sites that have lots of files to be indexed, but nice.

Pleasantly complete for a shareware product -- straightfoward.

Very easy to set up, but also very slow (on a 200 page site). It doesn't use any index, so it's fine for small sites that don't have any space for index files.
