Account Manager LITE is designed to offer completely hands-free maintenance of your membership websites. Offering things like automated signup, admin approval, mailback-confirmations, Account Finder for lost passwords, and much more. Professional version also available.
I paid $99 and the software is non-functional. Technical support is provided only by email, and I have waited a week for a reply to any one of my five emails. To make things more fishy, they do not supply a phone number for contact information whatsoever.

Save your money. I paid $99 for the Pro version, which would not work correctly through the payment gateway, as well as other areas. Repeated requests for help have been ignored. I am complaining to my credit card company for a refund, and have purchased a much better script elsewhere.

They falsely advertised the scripts automated billing features. It can not do automated recurring billing with any company. It can only manually bill your customers and make them pay it again themselves. This is undesirable for most businesses and their customers.

Good features. After a struggle with installation, I paid $90 to have them install it for me (took a week). I then had to move my site to a new server. Once again, I couldn't get it to work, so I submitted a request for troubleshooting ($90/hr). After a week and three email requests for an update, I still haven't heard from them. I've switched to a different script.

Sounds good, but I can't get it to work!

Basic .htaccess, .htpasswd management tool. Easy to use for both users and admin. User screens can be customized if you know Perl.

Setup was brilliantly easy and everything worked just fine until about the 50th or so registrant. After that point, no new username/password would work. I never touched any of it, as it worked just fine on its own for over a month. Then, all of a sudden, it crashed and burned. I'm glad I didn't pay for it or start using it yet for anything too important!

I purchased the Pro version of this script. This script is just not very configurable without hacking at the perl code itself. Form fields should be easy to add/remove, but they are not. However, they will be glad to change them for $90 hour. Customer service is lacking at best. You can't even take their link out that appears everywhere. I expect a lot more for $199. I don't recommend it and will not purchase another script from them.

Very useful for me, excellent documentation. I had never done a CGI script before and was able to do it (it required some patience). I hope I can now setup a login page. If anybody know how to please email me.

Admin interface somewhat awkward and configuration limited for the free version. Installs easily and is easy to set up.
