Simple to install and set up. A great script, but could use more security and not rely so much on mods.

I am not a novice to CGI, nor a Perl guru. Links 2.0 is easy to set up, but you will need dozens of mods & fixes to enjoy it's power. It is limited in the number of links it supports. SQL handles more links, but the price is out of many web-site's range.

This is the best links script available that we've encountered. Setup is a snap!

Wow. This is truly one of the better scripts available, but be warned that running a Yahoo-style site can take time. Installation is easy (provided you have nph support) but pages do need to be customized before deployment. Support forum and FAQs are outstanding and incorporate a large number of hacks and mods.

Excellent script, however it irritates me that I always have to type in my admin ID/password twice when logging into the Administrative area.

The best period. Easy to install, great support forums (this makes it all worthwhile), expandiable beyond your wildest dreams. A definite must for any web site.

This script is great, but I'm a newbie to CGI and I had some problems. When you get it to work, it's fantastic.

Great script. Excellent features, support, and also very extensible. Not for novices, but running a search engine isn't an activity for novices. Nothing negative to say about this.
