Interactive Story

This is an interactive story, written by its readers. As people read the story, each page tells a part of the story. Each page ends with two choices for what to do next. Users click on one of the two links to read what happens next in the story. (It works like the "choose your own adventure" books that were popular when I was a child). When people reach the end of the part that is already written, they can enter the next page of the story. You can configure it to send you e-mail when a new chapter is added.

Good script that does what it says it does. Missing a lot of the "nice to haves". For example, any customization is by hand, which is ok since it's a small file, but an interface would be nice.

VERY good script, you can customize it and change bits if you want, I did have some problems installing it to start off with, but I finally got it working by installing it with unix. One word review, WONDERFUL!!!

Great script -- the ability to have two choices for each chapter makes it like the "Choose your own adventure" books. It would be better if there was an admin interface in which you could edit/delete other people's chapters, and if the people could go back and edit the chapters they wrote (in case there were mistakes).

This script is easy to install and configure. It has many uses, plus is great at adding interactivity to your website.

This script *could* have had a much different rating, but Valerie (the script author) doesn't approve of 'adult' sites and refused to explain to me how to unzip the .tar file.

Easy to install, easily customized simple script gets it done with finesse. The two choices left by each author for the next is a nice touch. Good fun. Thanks, Valerie!

Exactly what it appears to be -- I had it running in minutes and I hope that my users will have the fun that I had writing the first three chapters. Very simple, very useless, very entertaining.

Bright idea, clear and effective realization. Would be absolutely unbeatable if there was an admin's interface!

Easy to install and simple to alter and customize! Gotta love it!

Wonderful. Simple to configure, articulate comments and README, and offers more than just a souped up graffitti wall. The credit for the author is brief and doesn't overwhelm the pages. If anything, it's too small for the fine and generous job done!
