This is an interactive story, written by its readers. As people read the story, each page tells a part of the story. Each page ends with two choices for what to do next. Users click on one of the two links to read what happens next in the story. (It works like the "choose your own adventure" books that were popular when I was a child). When people reach the end of the part that is already written, they can enter the next page of the story. You can configure it to send you e-mail when a new chapter is added.
This script allows the owner of a web site to create a story that users can add chapters to. Add2Story has many features: profanity filtering, logging, and it can email the owner of the story each time someone adds a chapter. This script is great for bringing traffic back to your site.
The Open Journal allows you to keep a weblog on your website, with automated archiving of old logs (configurable to whatever time period you want). Completely customizable look and feel, and updated as needed with new features.
An interactive online story script to create individual adventures.
Upload a text file and let users view it as a real book, turning pages with sound effects. If you have multiple books, they are displayed in a library for users to choose. The words are set up to fit the page perfectly, and the pages are created automatically. The script divides the book up into pages on the fly.
