This is the perfect tool for small websites. The search and display are just great when used in conjunction with the other scripts, namely the update script. If being used with updating of records it really needs the xtra version to enable the password protection feature.

Very nicely done. One of six scripts that make a practical and easy to use database that can be integrated into your website.

I have been using CSVREAD for about a year, found it very easy to install and love it's features. I find the user forum very useful, all my questions have been answered very quickly. They also offer a very affordable and fast service if you ever wish to customise your script.

The CSV family of database scripts do just what they say they will do. I use CSVread, CSVedit and CSVsearch. From CSVedit I am able to modify the contents of all of the flatfile databases on the server. If you have any "... of the day" content on your website, you will find that CSVread works well in that it will pull data from any field(s) associated with today's date in the date field. The instructions are clear and complete. The authors are responsive to questions posted on their forum.

These scripts have given me a very useful and professional looking database lookup, and have fired me up wit enhusiasm to start using the "Xtra" versions. Setup and customisation has been very smooth.
