The e-Classifieds Free Edition allows you to quickly set up your own classifieds section using easily configurable categories and other variables. All pages are generated dynamically using your settings, so there is no need to manually edit any HTML files. Users can post and delete their own ads. The admin can delete any ad posted by any user and can even delete entire categories at a time.

This free edition does some nice things, and it's easy enough to make layout changes in the script. I did experience strange things with variables in the script though.

This program creates an ads.data file for your ads. But it recently wiped my data file clean and it took me 5 hours to reinstate it from the logs. Make sure you back up this file regularly.

Great script. Easy detailed install instructions and easy to man-handle.

A brilliant introduction to Classified Ads. I had a brief problem in discovering how to format the dates into non-US format, but apart from that it was no problem to configure. I have been using this script for 2 days only and will definitely be upgrading from the free version to one of the fee-paying ones.

Very easy to install. The best free auction program.

A great script, but their support is very expensive. If you have a question or a problem with the software more than 30 days after purchase, their support team charges a minimum of $100 per hour! If they had a forum section for their users to provide free "service" I'd give this software a much higher rating.

Easy to configure, very nice interface. I can't wait to upgrade to the very reasonably priced "Basic" Edition.
