| I have been testing UBB 6 on my friend's liscenced server. Infopop has been making many errors when they upload their releases. The UBB 6.02 download was worse and they had to reupload that download a few times in 24 hours. I have been reading their offical forums. Too many users complain about errors. |

| So easy to install, even for a newbie like me, who unfortunately tried three other boards first. Take it from me, if you're a newbie, install this first. It should allow you to delete messages though, I feel. |

| UBB is one of the best BBS scripts out. The only problem with UBB is that it wastes disk space with its saving system and can also waste bandwidth. For small boards that isn't a problem, and UBB should work great. The full version is a great script, topped by possibly only UltraBoard. After trying some others I'm sticking with UBB. |

| The freeware version of UBB really blows (no customization and lack of features). I can't afford the $200US price tag and so for anyone looking for a freeware BB, this one isn't it. |

| This is the absolute best piece of forum software on the net, without a doubt. Easily worth the money to register, it's just that good. There are tons of cool hacks for it floating around, including user images, VIP status hacks, custom user texts and countless others. If you opt for the full version, you will be amazed how much you can configure this thing. It never ceases to impress me. |

| Simple, effective, just would be nice if the DELETE function could be added to the Free version, then it would be better than many of the others. Be careful of Y2K problems though, in regards to posted dates in the free version. |

| It's too advanced for a small site wanting only one or two forums and with low traffic. Its layout works much better for large and busy sites. However, the script is not speedy and it's often less than fast when posting or vewing threads. Also, to customize this monster is a bad joke. |

| The script is terrible to try and modify or configure. To change the layout even slightly there are at least 5 different scripts you need to modify. The programming is bloated and downright ridiculous at points. Simple things are done in a very convoluted manner. I've used the script for 2 years and in that time there have been dozens of updates. So don't get this and expect to be able to modify it easily at all. |

| This is the best BBS script I’ve ever seen. I don’t get why anyone would put something down by how you think of the freeware? I have been using this script for a year now, and I find it best. The support is the best you can get. (Before I even understood CGI I did have trouble, but their nice staff after a few emails even installed the demo for free) You can’t beat support like that; nothing comes close to it. The administration features are good, as well as frequent upgrades. |

| Setup was a breeze, although they might consider clarifying where the subdirectories should be placed. The functionality and setup is unique and user-friendly. However, charging $67 for one year's use is a bit pricey when compared to the other boards that charge nothing and do just as much. |

| I have used this script for a year on one of my sites and have never been disappointed with it. I don't recall it being difficult or problematic to install either. It's got an excellent array of features and its ultimate potential is phenominal. Some major advancements have been implemented since I first installed it and it appears that a lot of work and consideration goes into its continued development. I have never had a poor support issue, either, and help in the support forums is great. |

| This is one of the finest pieces of BBS software available on the net today. After installing my first BBS back in '95, I have installed dozens since. Besides the great look and extensive features, it's programmed by a true gentleman who listens and helps every customer. Availability of top notch support should be the #1 reason to use the UBB. |

| A great message board, average support. Can be difficult to configure if using frames or tables, the config files don't cover enough ground unfortunately. Pretty simple, if time-consuming to install, but overall the free version is great except the lack of message controls. I give the paid version and eight-and-a-half. |
