| | WebLog is a comprehensive access log analysis tool that allows you to keep track of activity on your site by month, week, day and hour, to monitor total hits, bytes transferred and page views, and to keep track of your most popular pages. It can also print out secondary reports to track "user sessions," showing the paths taken through your site by your visitors and giving you a rough idea of how long they spent looking at your pages, and to provide you with information on referring sites, search engine keywords and the agents and platforms they used. |

In spite of the huge size the reports can be and the server log files access you have to obtain, this script is really worth it! You don't have to change your files at all. Definitely as good as a non-SSI log analyzer gets.

Easy to install and runs fast with low processor usage. I think this is by far the one to use for any server.

As long as you have telnet access to your account, this program is great and free!! I didn't need to make any changes to my web pages. It has been a great help and it is great for finding out how people are reaching your site. It has also helped me find dead links I didn't know about.

It is a good and comprehensive statistic tool, but it creates an absolutely *insane* server load when it parses large logfiles. A site with 6-10 Gig traffic per month shouldn't run this script, not even once per day. It's great for small sites, though.

Wow, incredible... I was about to code a script myself, but this one is free and useful!

Great output and easy to configure. Problems with ips.txt file becoming too large and causing program crashes. I would suggest to the author that he build in a few lines of code to detect the size of the ips.txt file, and delete it if it is beyond a certain size. Otherwise, for not too large log files, it's great.

In my opinion, WebLog is one of the best stats tools available at any price for sites with modest traffic. It runs great on NT with only minor modifications.

Really great analyzing tool! Easy to setup, first execution takes a while when logs are big, but the log updates are fast enough. Perfect for small and medium access sites.

Nice script, but it takes a lot of CPU to analyse huge weblogs.

One of the best log analysis tools I've ever used. GREAT detail! Only one bad thing: it's real hard to setup. But if you have the time, try to set it up; you won't regret it.

It's an alright script. I would suggest not using it for multiple days of stats because when it tries to catch up with past days' data it's VERY slow.

I didn't like it... It is not good for high traffic sites. It seems that if there is a lot of data, it just can't process it and crashes...

By far the best log analysis tool I've tried and free too! Tells me everything about the user, how he got there, what he downloaded, top files, and tons more. If you have logs, use this.
